fundamental concepts to make sure everyone understands social justice and diversity frameworks.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

 

  1. Define key social justice concepts: equity, oppression, privilege, intersectionality, social identity, structural racism. 

  2. Analyze how systems of oppression work (e.g. implicit bias, discrimination, internalized oppression, and white supremacy culture).

  3. Understand how to utilize systems thinking to progress towards racial equity
